The organoleptic characteristics of Maximo™ Extra Virgin Olive Oil result from uncompromised standards adopted in the “Tenute Agricole dei Baroni de Rosis” throughout all the steps of production process. Located on the Ionian coast of Calabria, southern region of Italy with a natural vocation for oil production, the huge olive grove belongs to the family since 1600. Certain know-how in cultural techniques and harvesting expertise together with usage of advanced extraction, storage and packaging technologies give the owners the ability to extract this high quality oil from first cold pressing of carefully selected olives in their state-of-the-art "frantoio". The final product is one of the most important mediterranean diet elements, “good fat” and healthy staple component of several recipes. Either for dressing or for cooking, Maximo discloses an elegant herbal flavor, fruity and gently pungent, revealing the harmonic almond undertones that come from the native ancient olive cultivar “Dolce di Rossano”. The exclusive and unique design of the bottle has been studied to give it modern charm and to preserve the qualities of this noble born extra virgin olive oil until the moment of tasting. To deeply appreciate it, taste it pouring about a tablespoon of oil in a small glass, and then warm the sides of the glass with the palm of your hand, covering the top with the other hand. Rotate the glass for few seconds to liberate the volatile aromas. Bring the oil close to your nose and inhale slowly and deeply for the first smelling sensation. Now take a small sip and distribute the oil on the palate and on the back of your tongue without swallowing. With your lips half-closed, inhale rapidly then breath deeply to fully taste it. Of course you'll get the best out of Maximo also simply as dressing for your favorite salads or spread on toasted white bread or on top of grilled vegetables and with soups or warm dishes: the pleasure of discovery is all yours!
