The Avanzis' estates have wonderful olive groves for the production of esteemed and prestigious oil. The olives are picked by hand and rigorously processed cold in the traditional fashion that continues to treat the products of the land with great care. The Avanzi farm owns over 30 hectares of olives groves throughout the Lake Garda area between Valtenesi and San Felice del Benaco. Avanzi is thus able to closely follow the ripening of the olives and harvest times with great care, obtaining an extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality that has been acknowledged many times at the "Ercole Olivario" Competition in Perugia.
